BREAKING: THE INTERNATIONAL AGRICULTURAL EXHIBITION – MOROCCAN CANNABIS

For the first time in Morocco, a marketing campaign for legal cannabis products is scheduled to be launched on the sidelines of the International Agricultural Exhibition in Meknes, which will be held on April 22.

Investors and stakeholders in the legal cannabis products industry, in cooperation with the National Agency for the Regulation of Activities Related to Cannabis, will have two dedicated pavilions at the upcoming exhibition from April 22 to 28.

Products include a variety products ranging from cosmetics to nutritional supplements and agri-food. These products have gone through various legal production stages and are now ready for marketing.

The products being marketed represent the result of the first legal cannabis crop in Morocco. In 2023, 277 hectares were cultivated for the benefit of 32 production cooperatives including 416 farmers. The agency relied on 2.1 million marijuana seeds last year, based on 21 import licenses granted by the National Food Safety Office, registered at the customs level.
