BREAKING: Lesotho Company Set To Triple Medical Cannabis Production Amid Global Demand🌿
MG Health Limited, a licensed company specializing in medical-grade cannabis extracts and products, is set to triple its production capacity in response to surging global demand. The company secured R18m in international funding and will expand its portfolio of medicinal cannabis strains and formulated extracts to meet the increasing demand in key export markets such as Germany, Australia, Poland, and Israel.
Operating from the mountain kingdom of Lesotho, the company has obtained compliance with European Union’s good manufacturing practice (EU-GMP) for medical cannabis. This enables the company to export its high-quality cannabis flower and extracts as an active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) to pharmacies in the EU and select markets.
According to the CEO, Andre Bothma, the company prides itself on producing a pure, non-irradiated product thanks to the pristine environment of Lesotho, 2,000 meters above sea level, and state-of-the-art facilities.
In addition to its global impact, MG Health’s expansion will contribute to the development of the local community in Lesotho. The company has already created approximately 300 permanent jobs, with the potential for further employment growth at full production. The surrounding communities have benefited from infrastructure projects executed by MG Health, including the provision of ablution facilities, clean water supply, and refuse-collection facilities.
